VF/SR-02 Banshee is a long-range strike, surveillance and reconnaissance concept within the Star Gazer Series. Its enlarged swept wing has a cranked leading edge, with the design prioritising range, high-altitude cruise and reduced observability over the Pegasus fighters’ manoeuvrability. The engines incorporate thrust reversers, while conformal nacelle pods accommodate fuel or electronic-warfare payloads. A large bay between the engines supports mission-specific equipment, including reconnaissance sensors, SIGINT systems, or additional fuel and a hose-and-drogue installation for aerial refuelling.
